Dmitri Maslak is pastor of Word of Life, Irkutsk since 1996.
Dmitri was born in Ukraine in the family of a military man.
As an officer of the Russian army in 1992 he was assigned to Irkutsk, Siberia to conduct his military service. Having left military service 1993, he joined the staff of Word of Life, Irkutsk. He was in position of the chief administrator for couple of years. During that time he has been preaching in prisons and working with the youth.
1994-1995 he was a student in the Word of Life Bible Center in Moscow. 2002 he graduated from the pastoral training courses run jointly by the Word of Life, Moscow and Word of Life University, Sweden. In addition to the theological education he studied psychology and technology in university.
The Lord put on his heart to preach the message of conquering faith, which stands out in his teaching and preaching. Over the past few years, Dmitri has been preaching in many cities of Russia, in Mongolia and the United States, Germany, France, Slovenia, Latvia, Kenya.
A non-profit Restoration Foundation was established with the assistance of Pastor Dmitri, also he was among the founders of one of the largest associations of evangelical churches - Regional Association of Evangelical Christian Churches in Irkutsk Region. Dmitri Maslak is a member of the Interfaith Council under the Government of Irkutsk Region.
